What is court-connected mediation?
In court-connected mediation, the parties are either in the midst of litigation, or are coming back to the table with a dispute after participating in protracted litigation. These people most often attend mediation with their lawyers present. The process is more evaluative than facilitative, with the goal of reaching agreement to avoid litigation and trial. Nancy meets with the parties jointly or separately, as needed, and conducts court-connected mediation sessions in half-day or full-day slots of time.
The best way to find out if this approach is best for you is to schedule a Consultation with Nancy.
