What is attorney-assisted mediation?
In attorney-assisted mediation, the parties already have lawyers and are either in the midst of litigation, or are coming back to the table with a dispute after participating in protracted litigation. Most of the time, their lawyers attend the mediation. The process is more evaluative than facilitative, with the goal of reaching agreement to avoid litigation and trial. Nancy meets with the parties jointly or separately, as needed, and conducts attorney-assisted mediation sessions in half-day or full-day slots of time.
Nancy offers virtual, online mediation, using the Zoom platform. Sessions can be held all together or in private breakouts, ensuring the utmost privacy and integrity of process.
The best way to find out if this approach is best for you is to schedule a Consultation with Nancy.
